Refund and Returns Policy – TableReady

We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains your rights under South African law and how returns work at TableReady.
- Your legal rights (these cannot be excluded)
A. ECTA 7-day cooling-off right (change of mind)
For most online purchases of goods you may cancel the transaction within 7 days of receiving the goods, for any reason.
- You must initiate the return within 7 days of receiving the goods.
- Goods must be returned in substantially the same condition in which you received them.
- You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
- Change-of-mind returns are eligible for store credit only.
Exceptions (no cooling-off right applies):
- Custom or personalised items (e.g. custom coasters made to your design)
- Goods that have been used, damaged, or are not in their original condition
- Other statutory exceptions under ECTA section 42
B. Consumer Protection Act – defective or unsuitable goods
If goods are defective, unsafe, or not of good quality or reasonably suitable for their purpose within 6 months of delivery, you may choose:
- Repair
- Replacement, or
- Full refund to the original payment method
In these cases the return is at our risk and expense.
- How to start a return
Email Sales@tableready.co.za within 7 days of receiving the goods with:
- Your order number
- Reason for the return
- Photos (if the item is damaged or defective)
We will reply with returns instructions.
- Refund / credit process
- Change-of-mind returns → store credit
- Defective goods → full refund to the original payment method
Once we receive and inspect the returned goods we will process the credit or refund within 7–14 business days (or sooner where possible). Refunds under the ECTA cooling-off right are completed within 30 days as required by law.
- Non-returnable items
- Custom or personalised products (unless defective or not as described)
- Items that have been used, painted, damaged, or are missing parts/packaging
